I love the froggy books, froggy’s baby sister, and froggy goes to dinner always captivate my kids, I also like the books,Bear wants more, Bear snores on, bear stays up, if the six year old is a good reader, Junie B. Jones, Horrible Harry, Magic Treehouse, and ramona quimby are all good collections.
all DR. suess are great,
I got all my kids books from the scholastic forms the kids bring home from school, or Usborn book partys, they both are very reasonable.

Robert Munch books are really good for kids. Also Dr. Suess. There are a bunch of good kids books at the library too if you ask the librarian.

Go to the children’s section of your local library or bookstore and see if they identify books by ages or ask for recommendations. You should be good with any of the book series based on kid’s TV shows: Arthur, Clifford, Dora the Explorer, Spongebob, etc.
